"Today we visited with my 90 year old grandmother to introduce her to her Great, Great Grand Daughter. 5 Generations in one room, it was very exciting to say the least. I have not seen my grandmother that excited in a long time. Which brings me to why I am writing this comment. The last time I had seen her even remotely excited was a few weeks ago when I stopped into visit her with her very own jar of Dr Hess Udder Ointment. She did not believe it was what it said it was since she had not seen any in nearly 20 years.. She immediately opened it up, to a good strong whiff of if it and began using it. I remember her smiling up at me and telling me how my grandfather would say that the Hess and Clark udder ointment could cure any skin problem. It had to be Hess and Clark he would say.
I think I am the only family member that has any of the original formula Hess and Clark Udder Ointment. (Probably 2 oz left )
Well, while we where visiting today, the baby needed a diaper change and during the process my daughter whipped out her 4 oz tube of Dr Hess udder ointment for baby butts. My grandmother sees the udder ointment and asks if I can get her 2 more jars because she had given her jar away to my cousin. So we left her with the tube of udder ointment (for baby butts) to use till I can get a jar or two down to her.
My grandfather always bought it by the case for the family, a few weeks ago I became a grandfather and would like to the same. Maybe we can keep it in the family for 5 more generations?"
